Thank you for using VidGet. Please read this disclaimer carefully before downloading, installing, or using the VidGet software and related services. By downloading, installing, or using VidGet, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted this disclaimer. If you do not agree with any part of it, stop using VidGet.

1. Nature of the Tool

VidGet is a desktop utility that helps users analyze links and save video or audio content they are legally permitted to access to their local devices. VidGet does not create, upload, host, control, or distribute content found on third-party websites, and it does not endorse or warrant any third-party content, policies, or services.

Unless expressly stated in writing, VidGet is not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or partnered with any supported or accessible third-party website, platform, or rights holder. All related names, trademarks, and content belong to their respective owners.

2. User Responsibility and Lawful Use

You may use VidGet to save content only when you have the necessary rights or express authorization, including:

• content you created or own;
• content you have permission from the copyright owner or another rights holder to use;
• content the provider expressly permits users to download, back up, or access offline; or
• content whose use is otherwise permitted by applicable law.

You are responsible for confirming that your use complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction, third-party platform terms, and content licenses. You assume responsibility for any downloading, copying, saving, converting, sharing, or other processing of content performed with VidGet.

3. Prohibited Uses

You must not use VidGet for illegal, infringing, or unauthorized purposes, including:

• downloading, copying, distributing, selling, renting, sublicensing, or publicly making available content you have no right to use;
• infringing copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights;
• circumventing paywalls, digital rights management, access controls, account restrictions, or other technical protection measures;
• accessing restricted content, accounts, systems, or networks without authorization;
• distributing malware or engaging in harassment, fraud, or conduct that may harm another person or platform; or
• violating a third-party website or platform's terms, community rules, or content licenses.

4. Third-Party Content and Services

Content accessed, analyzed, or saved through VidGet is provided by and remains the responsibility of the relevant third party. Third-party availability, formats, access rules, and technical interfaces may change at any time, so some links may no longer be analyzable or downloadable.

VidGet does not warrant that third-party content is accurate, complete, lawful, safe, or continuously available. VidGet is not responsible for interruptions, restrictions, changes, removals, or other actions by third-party websites. You must follow their published rules and assess the risks of using their services.

5. Intellectual Property

VidGet and its lawful rights holders retain all intellectual property rights in the VidGet software, interface, branding, documentation, and related technology. Except as permitted by applicable law or express written authorization, you may not copy, modify, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer, or otherwise misuse these materials.

Using VidGet does not transfer to you any ownership, license, or distribution rights in third-party content. Content obtained through VidGet remains subject to its original ownership, license conditions, and applicable law.

6. No Warranties

VidGet is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and freedom from errors or harmful components.

We do not warrant that VidGet will analyze or download content from any specific website, link, format, or quality level, or that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, error-free, or free from data loss. You should back up important files and take reasonable steps to protect your devices, accounts, and data.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VidGet and its operators will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss arising from the use of or inability to use VidGet, including loss of data, file corruption, device failure, business interruption, loss of profits, third-party claims, or legal disputes.

We are also not responsible for loss or liability arising from:

• a user's violation of law, this disclaimer, or third-party terms;
• unauthorized downloading, saving, converting, use, or distribution of content;
• changes to third-party websites, services, content, interfaces, or security measures;
• network, device, operating system, third-party software, or force majeure events; or
• a user's failure to safeguard files, account information, or devices.

Where applicable law does not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability, these limitations apply only to the extent permitted by that law.

8. Complaints and Rights Protection

If you believe that VidGet has been used to infringe your legal rights, or if you become aware of potential misuse, contact us using the details below and provide the relevant links, proof of rights, and necessary explanation. We may review the report and take appropriate action within reasonable limits. Doing so does not mean that we accept responsibility for the content or user conduct involved.
